Demobilization of the traditional tile fixing method

Cement mortar is the traditional adhesive for tile fixing. Using ordinary cement mortar to fix tiles can easily cause hollowing and falling off of ceramic boards. Especially after a period of use, hidden accidents caused by falling off are often seen because of temperature cycle and humidity cycle.

Nowadays, this traditional tile fixing method has to be ''demobilized''. According to the announcement released by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People's Republic of China on the Catalogue for Elimination of Construction Processes, Equipment and Materials Endangering Work Safety in Housing Construction and Municipal Infrastructure Projects (First Batch), the use of prohibited construction processes, equipment and materials listed in the Catalogue will be completely stopped in new projects after September 14th, 2022. The ''process of use of cement mortar for facing tile fixing''was listed in the Catalogue for Elimination.

With the ''demobilization'' of the traditional tile fixing method, new technologies and materials will give birth to a new market trend-tile adhesive.
